GWO Manual Handling
The aim of this Module is to encourage positive Manual Handling behavior and train delegates ability to perform Manual Handling tasks in a safe manner in the wind turbine industry/environment. The training is designed to improve and refresh Delegates’ awareness through both theoretical knowledge and practical training. The main focus is on practicing correct techniques.
GWO First Aid
The aim of this BST Module is to administer safe and effective First Aid in the wind turbine industry/ WTG environment, in accordance with GWO First Aid training through theoretical and practical training. As such, the course meets the requirements for new employees and the handling of emergency situations in the wind turbine industry.
GWO Fire awareness
The aim of this course is to give the participants the basic knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training to prevent fires, conduct initial and appropriate judgement when evaluating a fire, manage evacuation of personnel to ensure all are safely evacuated and accounted for in the event of an unmanageable fire and, if it is judged to be safe, to efficiently extinguish an initial fire by using basic hand held firefighting equipment.
GWO Working at Heights
The aim of this module is to teach participants to use basic PPE, and how to safely execute work at heights and comprehensive basic rescue operations from heights in environments similar to those of wind turbines in compliance with the BST Working at Heights Module.
In general, the course provides participants with basic knowledge and skills to enable them to work safely in the wind turbine industry. As such, the course meets the requirements for new employees and the handling of emergency situations in the wind turbine industry.
GWO Sea Survival
The purpose of this module is to give participants involved in the offshore wind turbine industry the knowledge and skills that will enable them to safely act and carry out the right preventive measures in connection with all offshore activities, i.e., from land to installation vessels and vice versa. This applies to the management of both normal and emergency situations in an offshore wind turbine environment.
